On-Road Towing and Recovery is any tow or accident that is accessible by paved road. Examples include break downs, accidents and Law Enforcement tows that are in Cities, on Interstates and Highways.
Law Enforcement or Rotation tow is a tow call from a law enforcement agency based on a towing rotation that is operated by the law enforcement agency that is calling. These can be accidents, arrests, stolen vehicles, abandoned vehicles, and break downs. Anyone coming to pick up their vehicle needs to fill out a Law Enforcement Towing Release. Vehicles and personal property are only released to the registered owner or their authorized representative.
Owner Request Tows are when the owner tells the law enforcement agency to call a specific tow company to tow their vehicle. These can be accidents, arrests, and break downs.
Private Tows are when the owner or person driving the vehicle calls us directly to tow their vehicle. These can be accidents, arrests, private property abandoned vehicles and break downs.
Off-Road recovery is any recovery that is not accessible from a paved road. Most off-road recovery are at hard to access locations down miles of dirt roads. Sometimes even a recovery on the interstate may be an off-road recovery due to distance from paved road that requires us to bring in specialized off-road recovery vehicles. We have decades of experience in recovering the unrecoverable.
We have specialized 4x4 off-road wreckers that are setup to go into locations where off-road vehicles go to recover stuck or wrecked vehicles.
We have Small Recovery Equipment and Small Recovery Vehicles to go into places that are not accessible to full sized vehicles to recover Motorcycle, ATV, and UTV.
We have Small and Large Tracked Vehicles to go into places that wheeled vehicles can't get into due to snow and soft terrain. Also for places that Wheeled vehicles would damage the terrain, Tracked vehicles do less damage kill less plants and create less ruts and are better for the terrain.
Labor
Daytime fees are usually $100/hr, but can be up to $400/hr per piece of equipment. rate is depending on risk and difficulty.
Nighttime fees are usually $100/hr, but can be up to $400/hr per piece of equipment. Rate is depending on risk and difficulty.
Tows that cannot be scheduled more than 3 hours in advance will be charged $200 base fee.
Offroad Equipment and Special Equipment Loaders, Forklift, Backhoe, Support Vehicles, Traffic Control, Tracked Recovery, Rate is depending on risk and difficulty. but will vary between $100/hr for Traffic Control or Support Vehicle, to $850/hr for high risk Nodwell Heavy Tracked Recovery.
Transportation Rates of Offroad and Special Equipment to site varies and will be charged subcontracted markup.
Storage rates are calculated based on 10 foot by 20 foot space,
1 space per day outside $65
1 space per day inside $100
Truck and trailer counts as 2 spaces, a large truck longer than 20 foot counts as more than 1 space etc.
Auto Recyclers does not agree to store vehicles and belonging more than 30 days. Owner must call every 30 days to verify the vehicle or belongings can still be stored at Auto Recyclers. If a vehicle or belongings is left more than 30 days without an agreement to store, the vehicle and or belongings will be disposed of.
We do our best to keep your vehicles and belongings safe. Our lot is secured and has 24 hour video surveillance. All of our employees that have access to your vehicle and belongings are background checked. That being said by hiring us you agree Auto Recyclers is not responsible for theft and or damages arising from towing and or storing vehicles or belongings.
